The Man O'War was capable of carrying a single pilot, was equipped with machine guns, rockets, and bombs, had a maximum speed of 440 mph, and could reach heights of 41,900 feet. Though it was shipped to England during World War II, it never saw combat there. However, it was put to use by the New Jersey National Guard and US Air Force during the Korean War. P-51D Man O'War was the final variant of the famous P-51D Mustangs, which had operated as bomber escorts in World War II.
