This cast-molded pressurized resin scale model of the Endeavor Space Shuttle comes in 1:200 scale and is rendered in fine detail. It includes a display base with a gift box. All parts of the replica are rendered to the scale of its real-life counterpart, adding to its authenticity. Recommended for Ages 12+ The vertically launching Space Shuttle was NASA's partially reusable low Earth orbital spacecraft. It included the Orbiter Vehicle, a pair of recoverable solid rocket boosters (SRBs), and an expendable external tank containing liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. Space Shuttle Endeavour was the fifth and final operational Space Shuttle to be built. It was approved by the U.S. Congress to be constructed after the Challenger disaster, and was made of spare parts from other shuttles. It flew its first mission in May 1992 and embarked upon its 25th and final mission in May 2011. It is now on display at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Endeavor completed 25 successful missions, consisting of a total of 299 days in space, 4,671 orbits, and 122,883,151 miles traveled. It contributed to the building of the International Space Station (ISS) and performed the first Hubble Telescope servicing mission. On its final flight, it delivered the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-02) to the ISS.
