When United Airlines started flying the Boeing Dreamliner 787-10 in 2019, it became the first airline in the world to operate all three Dreamliner models. It was designed as a longer version of the Boeing 787-9, sharing many of its features in a more extended form. Its commercial airline routes include flying between Los Angeles and Newark, supplemented by high-demand transcontinental and some international routes. Due to its length, it has the best per-seat operating costs of the Dreamliner variants, with enough range to fly connections like the US West Coast to Europe, or the US West Coast to most of Asia.
