For fans of the iconic FDNY Fire Truck, here's the perfect keepsake to take along wherever you go! Faithfully designed with the officially licensed FDNY Fire Truck logo and authentic red color scheme, this keychain has a fun, chunky form that is easy to grasp, and best of all, it has special features. Just press the buttons to see the fire truck light up and hear fun sounds! The first FDNY ladder trucks were pulled by two horses and carried wooden ladders up to 73 feet long. Evolving over time, they went from being horse-drawn to using steam engines, then gasoline-powered, and ultimately the "Super Pumper." The Super Pumper could draw water from eight hydrants at once and provide a flow at up to 10,000 gallons per minute. While fire trucks through the centuries have been painted various colors, red became dominant color in the 1800s. Various theories for the color choice abound, including different fire brigades wanting to stand out from others, and the fact that red is a color that signifies urgency. Now, with this keychain, you can celebrate your favorite firefighting brigade, the FDNY Fire Truck, at any time or place! Recommended for ages 8+

For fans of the iconic NYC Taxi, here's the perfect keepsake to take along wherever you go! Faithfully designed with the officially licensed NYC Taxi logo and authentic yellow color scheme, this keychain has a fun, chunky form that is easy to grasp, and best of all, it has special features. Just press the buttons to see the car light up and hear fun sounds! While the first taxi cabs of the early 1900s were painted red and green, it wasn't long before yellow became the norm. The wife of taxi company owner Albert Rockwell suggested he repaint his entire fleet yellow, and his company became so successful that he officially incorporated the Yellow Taxicab Company in 1912. In the late 1960s, the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission helped establish a law requiring all "licensed medallion" taxis to be painted a specific shade of yellow. This alerted riders that the yellow taxis were regulated, supervised, and licensed to pick up anyone who hailed a cab. The specific shade of yellow officially matched the shade used for yellow school buses. Now, with this keychain, you can celebrate your favorite taxi company, the NYC Taxi, at any time or place! Recommended for ages 8+
