Feel the Need for Speed: The 1/48 F-14D Super Tomcat "Tomcatters" Edition. Own a piece of naval aviation history with this meticulously detailed 1/48 scale replica of the F-14D Super Tomcat. Decked out in the iconic "Felix the Cat" livery of the legendary VF-31 Tomcatters, this model captures the raw power and predatory grace of the Navy’s premier fleet defender. The F-14D wasn't just a fighter; it was the ultimate evolution of the Tomcat lineage. As part of VF-31, the second-oldest fighter squadron in the U.S. Navy, "Felix One" represents the final, most advanced "Delta" variant to roar off the carrier deck. From its upgraded engines to its enhanced digital avionics, this bird was built to dominate the skies. The perfect balance of "shelf presence" and intricate detail, ideal for serious collectors and aviation enthusiasts alike. Features the high-visibility "Felix the Cat" holding a bomb—a symbol of a century of combat excellence. Crafted with high-grade materials and a professional finish that mirrors the weathered, tactical look of a carrier-deployed fighter. With a length of 15 ½" and a wingspan of 16".
