Duringheavy fighting around Guriat el Atach, oneTiger tank was abandoned by its crew andcaptured by British troops, who defended theirimpressive prize until it could be recovered andrepaired. Highlighting the significance of thisacquisition, Tiger 131 was later inspected by bothKing George VI and Winston Churchill and wouldbecome the most famous fighting vehicle in the world
