The Smithsonian Collection by Corgi Apollo Command Module, which measures approximately 2-7/8-inches long with a 1-7/8-inch diameter, is a period correct, accurate reproduction of the actual spacecraft, and features detailed graphics and markings. A Display Stand is included.

According to the Smithsonian, exploring the wonders of space, both close to earth and beyond, has been the dream of humankind for centuries. The first true spaceflights took place in 1959 with the crewless Sputnik Satellite but commenced manned flights shortly thereafter in the early 1960s, culminating with Man's first steps on the moon in July 1969.

Over the years, many subsequent iconic spacecrafts have been launched to take humankind's dream even further, with the ability to house both crew and scientists on board.
